Geocaching

Geocaching is a game where you use a GPS unit or a Smart Phone to find hidden containers all around you. It can be an adventure and is a great way to meet new people with similar interests and see lots of new sights!

There are over 3 million caches worldwide and thousands in Arizona. There are more than 10 million annual active Geocacher’s worldwide.

Basically, an established Geocacher hides a container the size of your fingernail up to and including a walk in container and you attempt to find it using the posted Latitude and Longitude information with a hint – sometimes. Once you find it, you sign the Log in the container and then log it on whatever app you are using to search with.
